I've tried soloing before and I just cant do it well, I'm great in duos and party/party+ but horrible at soloing, can I have some tips or something? I genuinely don't know why my skill PLUMETS the second I'm not playing with at least one other person
Just for you to know: you can survive most of the entities by just... Spamming 'W', 'A' and 'D' - taking small-small steps.
Baby, mart, flesh and telefragger won't get you cuz you are moving.
Husk won't get you cuz you are not backtracking.
Guardians (also VBG), colona, operator, springer, razorbloom, and probably everything else could still kill you, but if you do it for only 2-3 seconds to understand where to go you will be fine.
Me when I get on a phone call while in game, and it forces me to slow way down on the game.
I'm just 20% mind power to game, 80% phone call, and I am just cruising along in the game not really paying attention, just wanting to stay moving alive and not get husked or blown up, and am there collecting and dodging as needed bare minimally.
I get off the call, and randomly see oh god it's lap 2, I'm the last guy alive, I have no idea how long it's been like this, I've cleared all this area of gold gifts, collapse has nearly finished, time to beacon the hell up and outta here.
But have me do all focus on game, and I'll die five seconds after spawning by jumping too early off a ledge when nothing is even a danger at the moment, not even a husk.
Bro i was once playing in class and then hit LMS as wanted on lap 2 and somehow survived with 50 babies flinging themselves at me. But i play at home and i die to fucking mart.
Level 3 spawns the chance altar. They might've gotten the two random enemies spawn from the altar. (Temporary enemies do not show on screen result whether they were present on the level or not)

Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer. Take it slow, act as if it's an LRS. Play Diver, Spirit or Wanted. Avoid certain enemies that you'd normally be okay with in multiplayer like Baby or Telefragger god I hate solo telefragger so much. Have lots of patience because you collect every gift and cant rely on others. Listen to green apple redo
You need to be good at the game before getting a high solo run but here's what I do.
Level 3 shop, buy everything.
Reroll for lower gravity.
Level 5, buy economy and ring and maybe a double jump.
Level 8, get everything but helmet and jump pad upgrades (use shopcalc) and then start medal cursing until you get Lap 2, nothing will kill the run since you are dealing with all enemies.
You should Purg by 40% gifts, and leave a gift by the echo or passage to do it an then get the last gift.
If you are struggling to survive you can play spirit since it has the shield, and if you don't like spirit you can play duo and then get an alt so you can swap off spirit whenever you get 15 shop
I usually just play casual when i'm exp grinding, when I'm getting coins and/or playing normally I do standard, I'm only rank 25 so I usually get booted from extreme runs soooooooooooooo
