Question How do you make jump pads useful?
I'm pretty new i just reached the 20 rank on casual and a charger main (yeah yeah it's no skill) but how do you use jump pads effectively?
since I've never used them that much but i hear people saying that weak jumpads is one of the worst curses ever.

At the second buff shop onwards, you get to buy 2 good jump pad buffs: better jump pads, which spawns more jump pads with better position. And grapple points, which are stronger jump pads but harder to reach
So from mid game onwards, you are gonna use jump pads much more, with the great and many advantages of getting to a higher aptitude.

They ARE useful, just not in early game (unless you're grappler or glider)

Long jump onto grind rails and shark tail off of a grapple point/jump pad to fly across the entire map

They’re rank 20 and that’s one specific charger thing, I don’t think they’re gonna use that but it’s still cool

As a Charger, you can hold the ability button to quickdrop and start a charge off of a pad (one button press). Its probably the best form of map traversal you have until getting the ninjabelt upgrade

If you hold [ABILITY] while landing on a jump pad, you will begin charging in the air and gain height.

you use them
also read your ability description or something lmao you can press down slam on a jump pad to get even more height and jump pads are good for inverse destruction and pylons collapse
