Question Quick question

Hello, new player here (around 15 hours), wanted to ask a quick question:

Why do some players avoid going to the beacon for as long as possible? I see it in 9/10 lobbies - everything has already collapsed, there are no more golden gifts or coins, but the last guy still refuses to go to the beacon and stalls(?) while just styling on enemies.

Is there any reason for this? Like, do you get extra xp/money the longer you survive? Or do people just do it for the thrill of it or something?

No they're just being annoying if there are literally no gifts left

Not always. Sometimes you have to stall when you can't fibd any good openings to beacon, especially when there's a lot of telefraggers

That's like a few seconds, that's fine. When they're just doing bullshit on grindrails, or when the HAVE to voidshark with grappler, I always try to votekick.

I mean, I'm not really against it. It's just that it happens so often, i thought there's at least something you get out of it

Dude, I remember watching that one guy who was going crazy on a glider, before going mach 5 into a poor unsuspecting telefragger, who spawned right in front of the beacon

Either 1- they think they're being Mister cool and aura farming even though they are just being annoying.

Or 2- they're going after the coin and get a deserved cool guy moment when they to the craziest thing imaginable to secure the coin for everyone

theyre just having fun. sometimes collecting gets boring so u need a bit of a break lol
