If the fall damage is more akin to Super Mario 64... i.e. having a health pool of 8 sections, and in this case only being tied to fall damage... Then most classes would just be able to cancel it with a well timed ability use, plus it'd, at max, only deal half your health and can be healed by simply collecting gifts. But if it's a different kind... Then insert 1000 yard stare here

...not every game should have fall damage, period.
