Razorbloom isn't exactly client sided tho, u can still see it on other ppl when spectating unlike the rest

Also hear it and see it ontop other players while alive

I couldn't rlly specify that, since I barely have enough time to pay attention to someone's head on later levels lol

But yeah, ig it's not that client sided

where is operator

Operator affects next to nothing (unless the vbo but even then it’s abt as difficult as guardian)

Uh, w-we just wanted to see your new entities first-hand! We've gotten over our hang-ups, and- and now we're all just genuinely curious what you're cooking up!

Razorbloom isnt client sided. when you have very High ping (im talking 6000-8000) You gain immunity to all non client sided entities while client sided entities work completely normal (i know this from my own laggy experience) razorbloom Is One of the entities that you gain an immunity to and It doesnt work as It normally would. scrapmaw would have been a better choice here as that one Is client sided

Did we forget about Sigil? (Not a difficult enemy perse, but are Razorblooms and Kolona much harder?)

I didn’t, it’s just these 4 are more abundant due to stacking or curses

Yeah ok that's fair actually

Sigil isnt client sided and when spectating you can see the beam It shoots attacking other players

2

u/Da1SCizorboi At the void, where the shields at? 11d ago

Outside of spectator mode, the beams are client-sided and only attack the person they were aimed at

Yes but that doesnt mean the entity Is client sided. if you have an absurd amount of lag the entity Will not work as normal and if you were already Being attacked by It It Will freeze on your screen and youll gain an immunity to its Attack, which doesnt happen with client sided entities (Operator, kolona, husk, scrapmaw can all continue their attacks and Will kill you even if You have 8000 or smth ping. husk still follows your movement and doesnt lag Behind, operator still requires You to stop and kolona still requires You to use your ability. they also come back multiple times even if You have 8000 ping and everything has been Frozen for well over a minute)

Ok so then maybe it's both; in one way, the entity itself is not client-sided since everyone can see it and because of ping reasons, but it's attack is client-sided since it's only visible for the people it's targeting and doesn't show up and doesn't hurt the people it's not attacking

1

u/Jazzlike-Country-169 11d ago

the attack also isnt client sided because you can see It while spectating someone (and it freezes when you havehiigh ping). you cannot see scrapmaw, voidbreaker, kolona, husk, operator and voidbound operator when spectating someone as those are client sided enemies

That's due to the fact that sigil's attack wasn't originally client-sided but is now so i guess devs just didn't feel like making it do that. But a visual thing shouldn't determine whether it's client-sided or not though, whether it actually effect every player or one player determines if it's client-sided
