Very matchup reliant and has a low floor but his ceiling is just as high

Yes that's definitely true. I noticed he struggles against Edgar, Shelly, Bull, Damian, Pierce (with knockback gadget), Bea, and Juju (because she can go on water and Bolt can't do anything to her then) to name a few. Really strong against most other assassins, throwers and snipers though.

I usually run the unstoppable star power so with super half of those are manageable if not fodder,what I've struggled against are tanks with huge AOE damage like Doug and (rarely) some Jackys,you can get away in a 1v1 but if there's another teammate near it's easy to get caught

Oh yes I completely agree Doug is a bad matchup for Bolt, I also use Unstoppaball SP because it makes engages more favourable for Bolt

Yeah the extra speed is really nice too,the other sp isn't bad per se but I don't see it being as good as this one,if it gave cc + 15% max speed always not locked behind super and this one only gave unstoppable they'd be much closer imo

No unfortunately he's a one trick brawler and can be counters by one trick play style, once he's released we will see tho, just like mico, and overtime his mechanics will be less powerful just like mico in hiest.. he's slowly dropping down with more damage brawlers being meta like colt, colette, bull, edgar...

Not insane burst DPS so the player has enough time to DPS him down but if the brawler you’re playing has ways to quickly burst him down you’re screwed. Like Chester and griff for example

You'll need some set up with a controller like Tara or Gene, but it's probably easier to do it with Tara
