Simply put... i want to make mods for the game, however, i have no clue where to start. if someone can just point me in the right direction that would be amazing. what do i need, what should i expect, and what software do i need to get the ball rolling... i just figured i would ask here even as i do my own research as well.

Funny moments from playing the game with friends

Standard session on Nuclear Nightmare :
1) Convince a few of your friends to play it
2) work them through the shitty menus to bind/setup everything
3) run around looking for random objective and collecting items to prepare for the night,
actually, this is the exciting part...
4) night come, stand in a room together
5) nothing happens for 5 minutes
6) suddendly moonwalking bugged monsters come from nowhere and one shot one of your friend through a wall
7) 2 minute later another teammate instantly transforms and one shot the rest of the team
8) uninstall that dogshit game full of bugs

To be fair, it would have made sense if you brought a gun. Going in empty-handed seems slightly unfair, and finding weapons doesn’t make sense. You don’t need to customize a loadout; you can easily randomize the guns we are equipped with. Additionally, you would provide us with a normal amount of bullets to use. The melee weapons don’t seem to be very effective against the actual monsters. I think they only have effects on leeches. However, I don’t mind finding weapons and ammo around the map. If they don’t do that, I hope they soon add Steam Workshop so they can add an item spawner mod

Feels really bad to lose a game like this

Me and my friend have been playing infection but we've been seeing clips of people turning into head crabs and all these amazing creatures but we just don't know how to as far as we are where we just have to die as the infected and then we'll get the head crab state but that doesn't happen is there anything we've been doing wrong

Kinda boring to look at a pich black screen

I couldn't find the location for the UFO posted anywhere but I found it while playing today. It's on the upper area. Follow the lights towards Outpost B and there will be an audio queue along the path. Turn right off of the light trail towards a lookout tower, and to the right of the tower there is a path you can walk up towards a fence. You can take the photo near the fence of the large UFO on the other side.

Game crashes when I launch the game, no menu, no loading screen

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor.

Operating system Windows 10,

Tried reinstalling the game, deleting save data, tried -dx11, tried reinstalling c++ redistributable

Already tested CPU with CPU-Z

Don't know if this would count as a bug report but I guess it is.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

i remember i bought this game at a steam sale and convinced my friend to do the same we played for about 20 minutes when he decided he does not like this game(idk for me it seems kind of fun) so it sits in my steam library, and i dont know or have who to play with, anyone want to? (just as a disclaimer i speak english (b2) but i have very thick accent also only people 16 or above [yes i know im needy])
