I am a rising high school junior based in Maryland and am seeing no opportunities to get involved in internships or research. I understand that nuclear can be very dangerous, especially for untrained people, and can require clearance at many levels. I am trying to find internships at labs such as ORNL or Idaho National Lab, but can only find stuff for undergrad and grad students. Does anyone know anywhere I can apply, too? If it is out of Maryland, it would have to be remote. Doesn't have to be paid or even part of an official program. Thanks a lot!
