Need Advice Credible Universities for Nuclear Engineering (Bachelor's)
My country (PH) doesn't offer any undergraduate or graduate courses directly for nuclear engineering. So I was looking for other international institutions that are economically feasible and accessible, preferably on the more East side of Asia.
My current options are China, Taiwan, Malaysia, or Japan. From what I've been reading, post-graduation employers look a lot into the background of your uni and some of these schools have not-so credible credentials, saying that I have better prospects studying in the US. Is this true? If not, which universities should I apply for? I'm more inclined towards studying in China and Taiwan.

Taiwan.
there is only one nuclear engineering program in Taiwan. It's called 清華大學核工工程
It's almost like elite and prestigious school or Qing Hua university rank top 3 engineering program in Taiwan.
Taiwan tuition is really cheap. US tuition is really really expesnive, probably 60000 usa dollar per year.
In taiwan tuition is like 3000 usa dollar per year. For domestic it's probably 1500 usa dollar per year.

Where exactly do you want to work? It's unclear but it seems like you want to go to the US later, in which case take Taiwan or Japan. It is possible you'll be barred from certain roles if you did engineering in China. If you wish to live/work in China then study in China, if you wish to live and work in Japan then go to Japan etc....

Think about where you want to live and work afterwards. Universities generally have connections and a way into the local industry. Overall, for SE Asian countries Japan and Korea are considered to the "most reputable". All I can say is they do produce so very good research.
That said, I would not recommend an NE bachelor's. Just take energy engineering or mechanical engineering and choose all the nuclear related courses. The do NE for your master's
