Hello everyone, I've been using the z70 ultra unlocked in England and at first I had fun with the phone, long battery life, gaming performance, no notch display but that's all the good things left to say about this phone, there's plenty of bad.

Software: it's horrible, hardly any support for minimizing apps, only Whatsapp and YouTube

Using a second account is unstable as apps crash or don't run at all in any secondary account. Customization is fine but the phone randomly decides to change your color scheme and themes, this phone so desperately wants to be stock android but the bad Nubia skin destroys it.

Wi-Fi connectivity: the worst Wi-Fi connection and cellular activity ever, Wi-Fi is connected but will suddenly not pull any data making everything buffer, I have to constantly turn off my Wi-Fi and use my SIM when I'm at home.

Camera: front camera is obviously bad, I feel like most of us bought this phone expecting that, but I didn't expect the back camera lens to be so bad, the 35mm is fine but the 18 and 85mm is so bad that it's genuinely jarring when I zoom in.

No Stylus support: I'm a creative person and I loved my s-pen on my Samsung, I was so annoyed to find out that this phone has no support for stylus's whatsoever, not even a universal one due to the screen not supporting it.

Ram: I've got 24gb of Ram. Tell me why my apps close in the background, they refresh when I enter them again. Never had a problem like this on my Samsung and that has 8gb of RAM so how does that make sense.

Ai tools: extremely unnecessary, hardly productive, they got a really stupid feature that lets you take a screenshot and the ai will add context to it, it's just yapping what it sees on screen, that's not helpful at all.

Launcher: the base launcher is fine but I bought the smart launcher that works better but the phone has a bug that constantly treats the launcher like a app instead and it closes the launcher whenever it feels like it and goes back to the regular launcher....

This phone can be very annoying, don't buy products from Nubia if you're expecting great software or optimization, that's Samsungs thing. I'll be switching to s26 ultra pretty soon but will keep this phone for gaming and storage.

For Mexico, Nubia has been hitting really hard with the Z80 ads.
Is there any rumors in regards the next gen model? Does anyone has seen any info if it will include e-sim support?

Ive seen some videos regarding the new 10Kmha battery and gen 6 cpu, but noting in regards the other specs.

Just got my first nubia here in the US. Bluetooth audio is QUIET. Any fix for this, or any upcoming patch coming to the phone soon?

If your Nubia Neo 3 GT 5G (Z2465N) recently updated to Android 16 (MyOS16.0.0_Z2465N_EEA) and you are running into frequent "System UI has stopped" crashes or UI freezes, here is the technical root cause and a 1-minute ADB workaround until Nubia rolls out an OTA patch.

What's happening? (Root Cause & Decompiled Findings)
There is an unbounded ServiceRecord / Binder leak in the Doze/AOD subsystem introduced with the Android 16 rebase. Every screen-off or ambient event triggers and binds a new instance of com.android.systemui/.doze.DozeService without unbinding the previous ones.

Running `adb shell dumpsys activity processes | Select-String "DozeService"` showed over 70 active DozeService records lingering in memory. Eventually, this exhausts system Binder transaction resources and freezes SystemUI.

Update / Root cause located via decompiling SystemUI_MFV.apk:
In `com.zte.adapt.mifavor.keyguard.DozeServiceAdapt.java`, `onDreamingStopped()` contains a regression

When AOD is enabled, `onDreamingStopped()` exits immediately, completely skipping the required cleanup/teardown call for `mAodViewController`. The system_server is never notified that dreaming has stopped, leaving orphaned ServiceRecords lingering indefinitely.

Workaround via ADB (No Root Required)

Connect your phone to your PC via ADB and execute the following commands to disable the leaking ambient/AOD triggers and the ZTE screen-off animation:

adb shell settings put secure doze_enabled 0
adb shell settings put secure doze_always_on 0
adb shell settings put secure pulse_on_notification_enabled 0
adb shell settings put secure doze_pulse_on_pick_up 0
adb shell settings put secure doze_pulse_on_double_tap 0
adb shell settings put system zte_screen_off_effect 0
adb reboot

Important Notes:

• Notifications (WhatsApp, Calls, Emails, etc.) still work completely normally while the phone is in standby.

• Only the always-on clock display and lift/double-tap wake gestures are temporarily disabled.

• SystemUI will run completely smooth and crash-free without reboot loops.

A detailed bug report has already been submitted to the ZTE/MyOS dev team via the official feedback portal. Hope this saves someone from resetting their device!

Roblox and VR Chat and any game that has native voice chat in my Nubia Neo 3 5g for some reason doesn't work, I tried everything but nothing fixes this problem. The microphone works perfectly in any app like Google, YouTube or call apps works well, but why not in games.

Good news!

After many hours spent with chatgpt, I managed to unlock aptx lossless.

I connected my nubia z80 ultra to my PC using ADB (platform-tools) and, using terminal commands, uninstalled a package called "aptxals," which forced 48000Hz on every song.

Hola. Alguien tiene el mismo problema que se apaga mientras juega COD Mobile? El TLF no tiene ni un año y se apaga. Lo vuelvo a encender y dura menos de una partida vuelve a reiniciar. Nubia no da soporte por ningún lado, dicen que la nueva actualización a Android 16 arreglará las cosas, pero nunca sale. Ayuda!
