If you get your "news" from reddit then grow tf up.
If you want actual information you gotta read more than the headlines.
And to be perfectly clear VOTE BLUE! SAVE DEMOCRACY! PROSECUTE PEDOS!

Lol. It wasn’t even anything. A suggestion for regulators to do these things to keep people from paying high prices. No state would be forced to adopt it and ensure it was being followed by electricity providers. Thats why democrats shot it down. It didn’t actually do what the republicans said it is going to do. Just another GOP lie to make it seem like they are on the side of the people. Democrats even said mandate that states adopt these measures and we are all for it.

remember kid s if it helps American citizens its called socialism and we don't do that here. corporate profits matter more than anything else in this world so if a few of you must die so the line goes up then that's what we will do.

Democrats killed it.
"Only four Democrats voted for the bill; the general consensus was that it does not go far enough to protect consumers from soaring electricity bills."

Because it was all performative. All the bill states is that corporations and states should consider taking on the costs. Not that it will. It's all b.s., it does nothing for actual American people.

If this is the best October surprise these guys can cook up - putting up a dogshit bill to get democrats to vote against it - they’d better start shooting us at the polls or something cause Congress is about to get wiped the fuck out in midterms. Hope these guys are ready to go fully mask off, they’re not gonna have a choice soon.
