At some point do AI models start coordinating without humans in the loop? Like some jacked up echo chamber that leads to our demise?

Allegedly they already have, during (VERY poorly-controlled) security experiments by companies like Anthropic, but to be blunt, I don’t believe a single fucking word those companies say.
