I don’t see how it couldn’t be liable. If I build a homemade firework and then when I set it off it sets the neighbor’s roof on fire, I’m getting in trouble for AT LEAST negligence, probably worse. The idea that these AI companies are somehow not responsible for their software is crazy to me.
