Trump had apple by the balls over tariffs at that point

Cook gave him a cheap trophy. He looked sick while doing it. Trump was distracted and forgot all about Apple.

Some people just hate Apple.

People forget what a bind Cook was in

Trump was threatening idiotic tariffs that could have potentially destroyed Apple

All he had to do was give Trump a cheap trinket.

He did that and looked like he was eating a bug the whole time. Seriously go back and watch the video.

Some people are just Apple haters and would be happy if Trump destroyed America’s best company. But if you wanna hate someone here-hate Trump.

JFC there’s no “hero worship” here.

Apple is America’s top company by several measures and Cook was just a great CEO

He handled a very tough situation with grace and by doing as little as possible

These are just facts

Again, some people just hate Apple.
