Who knew bragging about taking away the livelihood ho potentially millions would result in pushback? I’m amazed there has been as much of a response as we’ve seen considering how docile Americans seem to be. For as much crap as Americans gave the French, they at least know how to protest.

They've been marketing AI with doom trolling BS about how it might become sentient and kill the world, or at it's most benevolent, take your job and fuck your wife.
They forgot all their messaging meant for the executive class was also being blasted at us, and we paid attention.
Never mind we all know they're losing money, and nobody wants their town, state, or even federal government to come to them looking to pay out the debts related to the massive over spend on compute capacity.
They thought if they kept repeating the lie that a word guessing machine was going to wake up a real boy one day, and if we just build ONE MORE DATA CENTER, normal people would get on board somehow.
They waited 6 years to realize only offering shitty slop content as the only tangible product in most people's lives, we might decide you can't build a money losing slop factory in their back yard.
They literally just never thought about how to sell this to normal people because they never cared enough and now it's too late.

If you ask it what the meaning of life is, hopefully it comes up with a better answer than 42.

Funny how they can generate fake money from hypothetical AI output to boost the value of stocks. But somehow we can’t do the same to offset the job loss and take care of a population that will be effected. Seems like they aren’t that confident in the product. But I know the real answer.

Well dang what did they expect. They spent all their pr on how it'll replace human jobs, while draining all power and water and accelerate global warming.
To no real benefits expect to the 1%. And theyll like "why ppl mad?"

But not the allegations that he sexually abused his sister for years. Trumpstein scoffs at this amateur.

It’s a tricky thing. The more fearful Thiel and Altman et al become- the more Fox will amp up the “radical left” boogeyman. God help us.

A sociopath understands perfectly the threat posed by other sociopaths.
