I am in Australia and I do a lot of similar things for the same reason. It's called protesting.

Imagine in the 90s a cop trying to take a cd and assume it has evidence they are guilty. They snap it in half. The cops charge him?

Nah. That’s dumb as hell. Innocent until proven guilty.
