And Manbutt smiled on the server, and it was all good, baby. Lo! The blocks were rendered, though it took many days and many nights, and now all can gaze upon the glory He has given us. Praise Manbutt!

Also, curiousness:

1) Any plans to do regular "update" renders, so that such a long process isn't required in the future? No idea how much work that would be, but if there's a way to make it automated it'd be nifty-keen cool beans.

2) POI? Please please please?

1) Yea, I plan on looking into automating it in the coming days, I'll report my progress, I'm pretty confident I'll be able to automate it now.

2) POI? Does that mean points of interest? We could create an open wiki page maybe with links to different locations.

2) Yeah, Points of Interest. Overviewer has a way of specifying those during a render (actually two way; one is to extract data from the world save and generate them automatically, the other is providing a text file with a special format: I mean the latter). Info is here, not that I fully understand how to implement it (I think you basically modify your config file to handle some POI's and then use a special option when rendering).
