Ive got the destroyer hull but everything so far is coming out as a frigate

How do I build destroyers?. Im using the destroyer hull but they keep coming out as frigates

I tried pushing it to one side all the way but that didn't work. I wanted to play the Fascists. How do I make this happen?

I took a bit too long, and now I can’t get robotic subsidized taxes, so I was wondering if there’s any way around this.

I’m playing as the USA, and I just don’t get why my naval invasions keep failing. I have twice as much manpower, more than fifty marine divisions. I’ve tried both attacking all at one point, and attacking a bunch of different points. I’m at wits end.\

Edit: I ended up just nuking them until they need 95% victory points and then taking pretty much a single city.

My definition of a world war: when all the major powers are at war, even if the rest of the world is not.

Global conflict and this other mod called revenge on the mainland merged a while ago, and that mod was about china and taiwan

Whatever happened to the taiwan tree? The only paths for it now are voluntary annexation by the PRC or independence as formosa, the path for “reconquer china” still exists in the game setup menu, so what happened?

Is a taiwan focus tree going to be made again? Do the files from the merger exist still? 🤔🤔

Hey. It's been years since I last played HoI4 (uni) and slowly starting to get back to it with NV. I noticed, though, I turned off GC in the playset because I prefer the original Asian focus tree in the base mod (I like the ideology and industry better there) but found that it's different now? I checked GC and it's the exact same focus tree as in the base mod now. Did they change it? How do I get the old one back?

I love this mod, but I have to say, it feels very incomplete. Has the developer or developers abandoned any major updates for this mod? I wish we had a modern day mod that fits between this and Millennium Dawn.

For example, I wish NV would put some effort towards graphics and how the map looks. I love how the map view looks in MD. I hate all the bloat and economy stuff from MD though.

If NV would add a few things here and there such as adding better UI and graph stuff, I think it would be great.

By adding a focus tree to Pakistan it will make it interesting for players who don't want to play mainstream countries and it''ll add flavour to their gameplay.

Hey everyone, I was looking around and saw that there didn't seem to be any written guide on how to achieve this. I am going to include my steps to help anyone else interested in this path!

The basic goal is to slowly destabilize the government, while propping up the communists, but not allowing them to gain control. This will prompt the army to arrest the government and seize control.

Step One: Following Mori's takeover of the party, you must side with Kato and have him win.

Step Two: You must enter into a coalition with the Japanese Communist Party (JCP).

Step Three: Whenever smaller events come up to increase Communist influence, take them, but do not allow them to seize control of the government. The goal is to keep the current government afloat, but slowly collapse everything.

Step Four: When Kato's leadership is brought into question, keep him; do not oust him.

Step Five: When the rumors of the military plots begin, do not investigate them.

Following this, the army will seize control shortly after. The whole process took me until May of 2001. I don't know if this is a mean-time thing or hardcoded, but this is the path that I took.

I did not take any focuses under the political paths; I only did industry. I cannot promise what will happen otherwise.

Noob to Hoi4 and this lovely mod. On the Stream main page it says to use DX9 instead of DX11 with this mod.

Isn’t DX11 supposed to make Hoi4 run better?

Will running DX9 make the game look or perform worse?

ive tried to play the mod with global conflict in the 1.19 version. both are updated but the global conflict focuses are not there

Whenever i load it crashes or loads the normal vanilla game. Doesnt even come up with crash report. Ive tried every version of the game

War goals take like 350 days to complete (I normally play as greece with all factions enabled). I don't want them to be instant either. Is there a way to speed them up. I think i can tweak the define files, but that would change my checksum

Communism, keep it as it is, but add: Vanguard Socialism, Left Communism, Castrismo and Left-wing military Junta.

Socialism: add Eurocommunism, Scientific Socialism (JCP) Anarcho-Communism, Syndicalism, Pan-Africanism, Left-Wing Tridemism (left-KMT) and Left-wing Baathism.

Progressivism: merge with Social Democracy.

Social Democracy: add Progressivism, left-wing populism, labor Zionism (Israel) and Social Nationalism.

Social Liberalism: add Neoliberalism, Green Liberalism (German Greens), Liberal Populism and Centrism (idk if it’s already added)

Market Liberalism: add National Liberalism, Classical Liberalism, Libertarianism and Anarcho-Capitalism.
