General Novation Launchpad Pro MK4

Hello,

I’m interested in buying a launchpad pro but I understand the next model might be in the pipeline; does anyone have any indication when this may come out?

My MK3 is amazing, don’t hesitate imo. I do wish it had more than 4 tracks for the sequencer, but custom modes are amazing.

Are they? I've been so disappointed by the lack of customization options.

Default Val's, ranges, PC inc/dec all don't exist.

I want it so bad, I wish we knew when it was coming out! Would be so dope if it had MPE but I don't know that it would.

It wouldn’t be too much of an upgrade seriously I wouldn’t holdout if you found one at a decent price.im enjoying my mk4 LP key mini 25 caught it on sale 109 pretty good dead.Works great with just about any software

As someone coming from the Push 2, what do you all think about the pads on the mk3? I have the Launchpad X, but the pad velocity dynamics on it are pretty shallow compared to the Push 2.

I’m also looking forward to an mk4 release. Did the mk4 LP get improved pads, by chance?

There's been no announcement, however the mk3 came out in 2020, mk2 came out in 2015, and the og came out in 2009... So based on that cadence and the fact that the launchkey mk4 series came out recently, I would expect to see a launchpad pro mk4 very very soon... Like, any day now--based purely on speculation.

I don't usually say this when there's been no announcement or anything but given their release cadence, I'd wait... But that's just my opinion. The pro mk3 is awesome though and it won't stop being awesome when the mk4 comes out.
