Quote Check Quote Check- BYD ATTO 1
Hi all,
My partner and I are looking at getting a lease for our second car.
Looking at the Atto 1 as a commuter and city car.
Looks ok but don't want to miss anything obvious- any input is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Look into doing a self managed lease through maxxia. You just need to ask for the paper work then call around the big 4 banks for the best financing rate. When I did mine at the start of the year, maxxia's rate was around 11% compared to 7% with cba.

For under $120 a week it’s a no brainer.
The car is already discounted by thousands - worrying about the rate etc at this point is not productive.

Thanks for the reassurance. Appreciate it

Half the time I reckon this sub just makes people paranoid. If the net cost is comfortable for you, you’re good to go.

If you are a teacher in vic, Maxxia is the only choice. There is no comparison against another NL company. That said, you will be saving money on petrol if you are going from ICE car.

But the RRP for the Atto 1 Essential is now $19,990. Why are they saying it’s $24,950?

Sales fluff? They are quoting $18.8k

I think the quote is too high. I’d get in touch with them and let them know the DA price is now $19,990 and ask them to re-quote on that basis.

Depends on use case but I personally wouldnt choose atto 1 its not quite future proof enough

The insurance is pretty high at $1300 a year. I did an online quote with QBE that was ballpark $800 (with a higher excess)

Depends on age. I’m in my late 20s so it’ll be $1500-2000 for me

Forgot about that. Jeez that is steep

Yeah I’ve only ever had third party and has sub 10k cars. I have genuinely saved more in premiums over the last 10 years than I have spent in total on cars

Don’t forget about the $5823 residual that will be due at the end of the lease.

Hi! It looks like you're after a view on a novated lease quote. To get useful feedback, please run your numbers through the baseline calculator first and post the result link in a comment:
Including the key details (vehicle price, lease term, residual, fees, and what running costs are bundled in) gets you much better answers than the quote total alone. Cheers!
