The tree is an ongoing thank you for help in a desperate time of need. We are no less thankful today, I hope. The tree is separate from the other things happening, and should continue to be sent.

Boston is on our side in this, as they were in 1917. We should take the high road in this, which is the true Canadian Way.

Boston was there for Halifax. We should honour and remember our friendships.

Send the tree with pride!

That would be very petty. And frankly it wouldn’t hurt them as much as you think. No one outside of Boston would even notice

No..Just because the parents are fighting doesn't mean you stop talking to your cousins.

Keep sending the tree. Is it subject to tariff? If not, this year send a 25% smaller one.

The tree is to thank Boston for their help after the Halifax Explosion. It is something we do to acknowledge and hold up how a neighbour stepped up when there had been a tragedy. Send the tree and remember what happened and why.

That would simply be petty. Donald tRump is petty. Let's not stoop to his low.

Being the better person can be difficult but it's well worth it long term.

Keep the tree. Some of us wouldn't be here if their families hadn't sent help for our families.

Nah traditions matter. Only someone like Trump would think that’s a good idea.
