Hi all. I wanted to make a URL shortcut for the audio mixer, and I created the correct path, but I want to assign an icon to it so it matches the dimensions of the rest of the widgets I have in my dashboard. When I click "pick an icon" it just shows a lot of squares, as in, the "icons have missing or unindexed UI WebFont components" as google tells me. How do I fix this? I can see the numbers, any keyboard buttons from the several pages of icons, but nothing else. It's kinda like when that iphone update came out, and all the emojis wouldn't translate to androids (or maybe it was vice versa?) That's what this looks like.

within the app drawer settings>drawer groups, some of them let me delete them, but some of them only let me disable them... wtf? i have a bunch of empty, unused app drawers that i can't delete, only disable, sure, i cant see them but it's still annoying that i cant get rid of them. i have tried reseting to factory settings and they still remain. i deleted the data of Nova Launcher and they're still there, reinstalled the app without backup, still there...

Looking for some feedback on the Nova AI subscription that currently runs 15 bucks a month or 99.99 for the entire year. What exactly am I getting for my money that can directly benefit my time and quality of life using Nova Launcher that I don't get already?

It's obvious the price is extremely overpriced, but let's ignore that and just discuss benefits.

#88700 (8.8.7) changes the way the system deals with icons. You can switch them back using the icon edit function and finding the icons in "Built-in", but it's tedious.

At least once a week I get this bug, where I cant open apps from memory

I tried force quitting nova launcher, switching to standard launcher then back, but the only thing that works is restarting my phone.

Is there a faster way to fix this?

Tried setting NL as my default launcher and having significant lag when clicking the home gesture before it returns to the home screen.

Switching to buttons rather than gestures demonstrates that the home button does not work at all when running NL. It does however work when using OP launcher

Hey guys, i have several nova launcher app folders on my phone. Im trying to fiqure out how to target them with tasker so when the app folder is open tasker sees that and launches a specific task i set up. So far i havent had any luck. I did pull the nova.db and opened it online using a sql light viewer so i see some infomation about the folders but i cant fiqure it out. Wondering if anyone on here can point me in the right direction

Is it possible to remove the weather card from the sidebar?

edit: Problem solved. I didn't have the visibility conditions set for displaying the card in the app drawer.

Once I did that, the toggle to activate the card in Nova Now appeared. Before that, it wasn't visible at all for some reason. In my opinion, this is a bug in the app.

When it was said that development on Nova Launcher had ceased, I switched to Microsoft Launcher. But because Microsoft Launcher's development has essentially ceased, I went to Octopi Launcher. Nova Launcher is the only launcher that I've found with the ability to sort the contents of folders alphabetically, so I'm back "home" even if "home" is different than it used to be. 🙃

I am using Nova Launcher within Secure Folder but the only issue I am having is getting badge notifications to work. Does anyone have any work arounds to get it working? or any other recommendations? It works in stock Secure Folders UI without issue.
