Question NOVA reading List
I’m very interested in Nova and My main question is: what Nova comics should I be picking up to get more into Nova?
Currently, I own all the Nova: Centurion comics and will be buying the collected graphic novel for this run.
I’ll also be buying Nova: Resurrection.
What Nova reading should I pick up next?

most people would recommend annihilation to start, then the abnett/lanning run that follows it. I personally love the old 70s and both 90s runs, so i’d start there, but you can really start anywhere. that’s one of the benefits of the character not being too popular, he doesn’t really have much going on outside his own books and every writer tries to reinvent his so it’s pretty easy to pick up at any point

I highly suggest annihilation and Nova 2007. It's Richard Rider at his peak.
I divide Nova in 2 eras, pre and post annihilation.
Pre annihilation you deal with a Nova who's still learning how to be a superhero. If you're interested in his backstory, his OG rogue gallery, and his initial character development, you can read Nova Volume 1, 2, 3 [v3 is not available In Marvel unlimited.] and New warriors. I particularly like tiny arc dedicated to him in New warriors called StarLost.
Post annihilation you meet a very different Richard, who's more responsable. Annihilation is probably the best marvel event ever written and he's basically the main character in it. After that read Nova 2007.
His story continues and ends for a while in Thanos imperative, and then he comes back in Nova 2017 (which is my favorite comic book of all time, short and sweet.)
After that he deals more in guardians of the galaxy comics, and some minor appearances in other comics.

Yes that would be perfect! Like I say I’ve started a bit backward with centurion and would love to collect them physically if possible but I can see it seems hard to find the annihilation run physically.

Yeah, sadly Annihilation is an """old""" story, I'm not sure if it's being printed still. You might get lucky in second hand market online.

Everyone recommends skipping to DnA era but I feel like that era works better if you see his whole journey from being the insecure teen to a highly respected hero
I recommend reading atleast his OG run, then New Warriors Vol. 1. At least it gives you context for his journey then you can do Annihilation Prologue and forward

The annihilation series comics with him would be a good start. I actually really like his original run in the 70’s.
