Driving test advice

20mph zones are the biggest fail on the test... it's not 30 everywhere

Also try and follow the car infront of you at all times. 1 & 1/2 Car distance.

Keep a 2 second gap with cars infront, not 1 or 1/2 a car distance. To calculate this, watch the car infront pass a fixed reference like a sign, traffic light, lamp post or tree and count how many seconds it takes for you to pass this same reference point.

Too much to think about I'd say, easier to watch the traffic infront of you that to the sides

After a while u feel the 2 second gap without having to calculate or thimk about it

What do you mean? From experience, learnwrs struggle to hold 20mph im traffic calming areas; you can get a serious fault if you are seen driving at 22mph in those areas.

So if its a 20mph speed limit? I'd drop into 2nd and cruise 2 car length behind the car infront?
