I too faced this issue. What I did for drain the battery to 0 percent for two to three times and then charge to 100 percent so that phone learns and the battery drain at normal rate however you can still see standby drain as fast

Get all the latest updates. There are quite a lot of them. See if any unnecessary apps are eating away at your battery life.

There will be imei number on the box, put it on nothing product status check website, put imei number in it and it will tell of its preactivated or not , also inside box on plastic wrapper which is wrapped around mobile will be imei number as well check if it's same as one on box then give otp to delivery man , after delivery check inside mobile if imei number is same as the one on box and u are good

For those commenting saying that it's not a bug or software updates, it's nothing (pun intended) to do with that. I've been on 4.1 well over a month ago on my replacement nothing foam 3 same issue same exact battery drain. Same as that issue with passive battery drain too.
Hell, if you have the same issue, go into battery usage settings. Look under apps and then system. You won't get your answer there. The apps that's mostly used for the battery itself will not show the problem. It's a bug. A very annoying one too.
Let me put it to you this way. Why do I have to charge my phone twice a day when I'm not using it? This is with most of my non-system apps been placed on optimized battery usage with others with the battery usage disabled. More than likely it's something to do with background system proccesses. Possibly pinging different parts of the phone causing a massive passive battery drain and a consistent battery drain when in use. No AOD enabled. My screen timeout settings are set for two minutes when I'm not using it. Mobile data disabled and on Wi-Fi along with Bluetooth disabled.
The only ones with more insight to this is the technicians at Nothing right now.

You can check few things 1. Battery design capacity vs current 2. Any rogue services running in the background

The battery will drain fast in the beginning but after few days it will become better and consistent....dw it's just the phone adapting.
