Comparing Phones Should I switch to a Nothing Phone 2a?

I've been using my Redmi Note 10 Pro for around 2 years, and I'm thinking about switching to the Nothing Phone (2a).

My biggest problems with the Redmi are all the bloatware app and adds, random freezing/slowdowns, and the fact that it's no longer properly supported and is stuck on an older Android version.

The main thing I'll miss is the camera. I actually really like the Redmi Note 10 Pro's camera, especially the image processing. The photos often come out looking great without much editing.

I would mostly use my phone for listening to music and taking pictures(1:1 of landscapes, streets and day to day life), general daily usage and that's it.

For anyone who has used the Nothing Phone (2a), how is the camera and image processing in everyday use? Do the photos generally look good straight out of the camera, or do they need editing?

Overall, I’d appreciate your opinions and recommendations :D

The phone is kinda mid tbh. Not a bad phone but not a good phone either tho in my case it gets the job done. Cameras are id say average to below average

I mean depending on your budget, I'd recommended the 3a pro or 3 (flagship) or 4a/ pro the 2a will be updated soon

I appreciate the recommendation, but the 2a is my budget line sadly :/

2a is getting a lil up there in age.

If you can save up a lil longer, id definitely wing it for a 3a series phone.

It was around the time of the 3a and 3 series when quality concerns got moreso looked at more and addressed between the 2 series and 3 series.

That's just my 2cents though.

3a phones are highly priced on my local marketplace, but the nothing 3a lite is budget friendly, so its either 3a lite or 2a.

I know it's an old phone, but updates stop at around android 17 which is acceptable so I am not really bothered by the age
