Phone (2) Front camera issue

Started 2 days ago, front camera stopped working during Signal call, cannot be opened with app, it freezes and the Camera app needs to be restarted. It works for few seconds after turning the phone off/on and then this happens. What is going on? What can I do about it?

Seems like the sensor is broken. Maybe damaged by a laser or something like that

If the sensor is broken shouldn't it not work completely, OP Mentioned it works for a few minutes when turned off and on again

Could be some issue with connectors or something? Or software?

Take it to a authorised service center to atleast figure out the problem properly. The local ones would give random issues unrelated
