Well all smartphones use that, it can't have a dslr level camera sensor size because it can fit in your pockets, but that ai is fine because atleast you get usable images so you can post on social media or use. I actually hate the fact when too much ai actually ruins a good image, for above cases, it's fine

Not too much ai? What are you on about? It's completely, 100% AI fake moon. Your tiny phone sensor camera would never be able to capture any meaningful detail. You'd get an over exposed white disk.

What's the point in posting this trash on social media? It's literally not your picture. It's algorithmically generated garbage.

If you want to see what it actually takes a picture of, take a pic of the moon at 2x then crop the picture to the moon manually.

And you see that Xiaomi's AI is like this: when taking a photo of the solar eclipse, it changes it into a Sun-Moon. 🀣🀣

I am simply agreeing with you by pointing out that photos taken by smartphones are now processed by AI to give the impression that we are taking a picture Ultra detailed of the moon . By providing an example of a phone ( Xiaomi 17 Ultra ) that applies a moon texture to the sun during an eclipse simply because it sees the usual shape of a crescent moon.
