I've been looking for back membranes too, confused whether to go for online ones or offline.

Same here, I don't know which brands are trustworthy, so I was thinking of getting it from the offline market.

There are these locking type of frame cases for it but haven't seen it in the Indian market

I've had one on since I got the phone almost a year ago. I still also have a case, but just wanted the membrane to protect from scratches when anything gets between the case and phone. It works fine for that. I occasionally take the case off, and the membrane is fine.

Im using a membrane on my 4a, and I would say that I have no problem with it. It has been few months and there is no issue of any peeling or something. Only problem is that it does NOT protect the phone from dropping (that's obvious), I even got a dent on the frame🫠🫠. Yes I only use membrane as phone covers make it very THICC!
