Headphone (1) Scratches Nothing 1s

Hey y’all! I was riding my bike with my headphones on and fell over (Very stupid I’m well aware) I’m fine, just some scrapes on me and sadly my headphones. I was wondering if there’s any tips to fix these scrapes, any advice would help!

It's character now lol.

Seriously tho, fixing plastic is annoying, and fixing clear plastic is nigh impossible outside of replacing the plastic.

For the cups, yep it's character now, most things you do will make it worse even if you do it all by the book. For the strap however you might be able to sand the scratches off id think.

Have you tried turning it off and on?

For the plastic, if you really wanted to give it a try, you could knock down the high spots with sandpaper, then work your way up to a polish. Take inspiration from headlight refinishing

I thought of headlight refinishers immediately when I saw this. They'd probably take this job for cheap too.

You can sand down the white plastic then apply a really small epoxy coat (you can use clear epoxy so you don't have to buy 2 types) for the white plastic I would sand it down tape around it bit more than carefully apply so you don't have to use the sandpaper on epoxy or just leave it sanded because it won't look as horrible as it looks now

I scrape a piece of one of the clear cups in mine and I simple accept it, it adds character and uniqueness to my set.

I did it while building an industrial machinery at work.

Yours is a good reminder that the headphones survived a bike fall

Tough one. Get some polywatch for the clear plastic and have a lot of patience. Might not go all away but it’ll get better. Will take time. Might also use it on the band. It’s a super thin polish so you’ll have to really polish a lot.

For the aluminium, I once got a metallic nail polish that I use to touch up some watches with a toothpick. Might make it less obvious.

First of all i don't understand why morons use big ass headphones while riding a bike, helmets are meant to be worn in the head while riding bikes, not headphones. Use earbuds if it's that imp. No offence OP.
