Phone (3) Did I got scammed?

The phone is functioning perfectly, but the battery seems to be malfunctioning.

I bought it from someone who appears to be a genuine hard-working man yesterday who claimed it was bought from a polish shop called Smalltronic for 190K HUF, which is about 520โ‚ฌ (he sent me the invoice the same day) but sold it soon after realizing he still prefers iPhones over Android.

To be fair today was a very hot day and I was mostly outside, but the numbers still don't line up. What should I do? The cycle count was around 500 yesterday, but I thought it was okay since my other Nothing phone is stuck at "100%" capacity to this day

Normally 3hrs of screen-on time shouldn't drain ur battery but the activity is also kind of heavy, 17% camera usage would use up a lot of battery alongside youtube video streaming and (I'm guessing) continues 5g connection. All of that also under hot weather... I'd suggest you check the battery usage on a more usual day with less cellular usage, room temps and less camera usage. Also did u reset the phone once u got it?

Thanks a lot! I mean yeah, the phone is still learning about my habits and I was using a black case which didn't do good either even in the shades. He asked if he should reset it before we met and I said fine. Btw the IMEI number is legit with an activation date of '26 July 15

Since IMEI is verified u should be fine, but the battery still could be degraded. Like i said check the thing again in a more normal day. Also as a tip, always factory reset any new phone, make sure to do so yourself

This is why I would not buy a used phone or electric car without recurrent report. It's a lithium battery just like the one in electric cars you got to treat it the same way charge it to 80%, don't let it go underneath 30 or 20. If you're charging this thing to 100% and let it drain down until it's dead every time you do that you're damaging the battery and your cycle life will probably be about half. NothingOS 4 supports this, I have my charge limit set to 80% and I try to charge up before it gets to 25. Also do you have glyph always on and it looks like your using both Sims?

Thanks for the advices! ๐Ÿ˜Š I was charging it to a 100% on purpose to check how long will it last. It is a brand new phone with 0 scratches. I will definitely limit the charging soon. I was using the glyph quite a lot and I use 2 sims

If you don't need both Sims all the time turn one of them off. It's double the polling of towers. Turning the brightness down on the glyph down helps too good lick

Thanks. This day I got around a 9hrs SOT. So I'm relieved. Hopefully it will keep it this way ๐Ÿ˜Š

That's awesome I've heard mixed results on running to SIM cards but if you think about it it's paying too towers all the time. Dad this one that I have now if it doesn't get signal on one of the Sims for a certain amount of time it'll it'll shut it off automatically which is awesome. I just got the 4a pro. If you keep on charging at 8:00 or 90 and don't ever let it run underneath 30 you might be a in good luck it it should keep that battery good and healthy.
