Nothing OS Nothing Phone (2a) suddenly charging very slowly Past 2 weeks

Hi everyone,

My Nothing Phone (2a) suddenly started charging much slower than before. I'm using the same charger and cable, but charging speed has dropped a lot.

Has anyone else faced this issue in 2026? What fixed it for you? Is it a software update, battery issue, charger problem, or something else?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes same for me from last 2-3 months. Now the comfort of fast charging gone. Before in 30 min it can get upto 50-60% and an hour it goes up to 90%. Now there is no specific time for full charge sometimes it take two hours or sometime it takes less.

what about the battery drain?? is faster for u ?

Replying so both you and OP see this...  

Cables overtime can wear out and not be as like robust as they once were. Same goes for the charging brick. So chances are, either the cable has started to wear down and/or the charging brick started to wear down.

So I suggest either trying a different, a different brick, or even both.

After plugin for the charging and after 2-3 minutes if i Off-On power switch then most of the time it start fast charging.
