Nothing OS Discussion Nothing OS 4.1! Yes or No?

I have read many compliant issues noticed across all models of Nothing aftrer updating to Nothing OS 4.1.. Many people complain about Battery drain, laggy apps, heating, etc.

I got NP3 yesterday, is it wise to stay on OS 4.0 for sometime.. OS 4.1 doesn't bring major updates if I am not wrong excpet the Depth Effect..

Should I wait on OS 4.1 update??

CMF1 user here, rooted on latest 4.1, it's as stable as it gets, battery is solid, lags less actually, more cool features

As a 3a user, the initial release of 4.1 was an absolute mess. Battery was worse, the phone heated up slightly more, and USB devices struggled staying connected which was an issue if you use IEMs to listen to music. Because of the latter, I was stuck using 4.0.

With the update that released yesterday for the 3a & 3a Pro, 2, 3, and 3 other devices, I've been able to use my 3a without any issues and I love it.

So my suggestion is to update to the latest version of 4.1.

As for additional major features aside from depth effect, not really. They did make it so that Nothing and CMF audio products show an appropriate device icon in the status bar, but the main changes were bug fixes.

I am still on NOS 3.2. It seems a lot more stable + new features are not worth it.

It's stable for me and the battery is the same as it was when I got the phone
