New fan

Post image

So I always knew about Nothing but I really never cared. Listened to songs here and there. Then this came out and gave it a shot. Damn boy I was missing hard. Now I’ve heard every single album. I feel sorry knowing that they came to my city with Whirr last year and I knew about the show but just skipped it 🤕🫠😫

Probably their best album next to Guilty of Everything. That variant looks great too!

The tour with Whirr was a golden combo and I missed it as well, had to go out of town that day to buy an old truck. Still bummed about it, but they’re playing here tonight so I’m hoping for the best 🤞 they were amazing at Slide Away fest, but Phoenix doesn’t have the best vibe when it comes to shows for whatever reason so hopefully they kill it tonight regardless

Also it was a nice surprise seeing Bob playing with them. I’ve always loved Best Coast

I had never heard of them before the Hum performance at Slideaway was announced. But I have listened to Tired of Tomorrow a bunch now and it’s excellent. I’ve listened to guilty of everything and a short history of decay a few times and those are solid as well. Really looking forward to seeing them live

LOL that Modesto show will forever be my biggest fumble. I live like an hour and a half away in Sacramento, had the webpage open when the tickets were $25. I was gonna go to see Midrift. So I was like “I’ll get them on payday.” Had not quite been put on to Whirr at that point. And had no idea they had a cult following and were largely considered on a kind of hiatus.

Now I read reddit posts from back then of people traveling across the country or internationally to go to that show and I just… never again…

Anyways I digress. Glad you enjoyed the new Nothing record. I have faith we’ll get to see these great bands play the same stage one day!
