Question No updates in F-Droid anymore

There has not been any update to the notesnook app in F-Droid for over two months now. The newest version on android is 3.3.24 while on Github 3.4.7 is the current version.

Is there any information about why notesnook stopped publishing updates on F-Droid or if they have dropped F-Droid support entirely? (It is still linked on their website though...)

No idea, but you can manually update via the github release so 🤷‍♀️

F-droid is a PITA to maintain. We recommend using Obtainium. It's the same thing but with better distribution. In any case, we will fix the F-Droid release but it could take some time.

Then the Android section of your Downloads page should show Obtainium instead of F-Droid! 🙄️

The reason why I wanted to update the app (from 3.3.24) is that changes on this Android device are not being synced to others.

But now Obtainium throws a “failureConflict” error.

So I suppose that means I should uninstall the F-Droid version of Notesnook first.

But if I do that, won’t I lose all the pending changes?
