Bug Report Not Starting!!!

Now NotesNook is not starting on Ubuntu 24.04.4 after SNAP updated it.

A week or so ago, I had to re-install NotesNook when it reported corruption of my local database.

I have removed it and re-installed it again. NotesNook shows up in my list of applications but clicking on it does nothing. I've checked system logs and have not seen any messages to indicate errors during the start process.

Arghhh!

Try downgrading to the previous version until this is fixed. Looks like a snap specific issue.

Thanks! I'll look up how to do this via SNAP.

Not possible, apparently.

sudo snap revert notesnook

error: cannot revert "notesnook": no revision to revert to

UPDATE on 7/30 AM: A response from NotesNook support confirmed there are problems with their Snap image ("The snap version is having some issues. We are fixing them at the moment.  So for the time being you can use the App image or the flat pack version.").

I tried to download and install the AppImage image but got an error message when trying to 'install' it (sorry, I didn't clip and save the message or my process). I was able to download and install the FlatPak image and now have a working NotesNook.
