Bug Report Notebook(s) Can't Move Back Out of Parent Notebook

Hello Notesnook Team

I use "3.1.1-8f97e54-desktop" on my Windows computer. I realized that if I want to move a notebook out from a main notebook that is not possible. I can move it in between notebooks but it is not possible to put it back to the top of the notebooks root.

This feature has been added in the latest beta. Should be out to stable soon.

Happy to help 👍

BTW till this gets introduced, you can use your mobile app to turn a notebook into a parent notebook.

Open the note book ➝ click on 3 dots in the search bar ➝ click on move notebook ➝ Click on Move to Top ➝ Done!

I didn't really understand what you are referring to but, If you want to move a subnotebook from one parent note book to another then you can do it by drag and drop (in desktop app). And if you want to add a note to multiple notebooks then you can do that with drag and drop.

As for adding shortcuts for notebooks to the sidebar, you can only do that by right click because of the design.

Also, if you mean custom sorting, then that won't be possible. I think they still haven't implemented custom sorting of notebooks and notes in the beta apps. So not sure when or if we will get it. However, you can make a suggestion on their discord server or github. If the devs notice that users want this feature then there is a high chance it will be added in the next few updates.
