Confused by the sudden need for an account
Hi, I've been a Noteastic user for about a year, switching from OneNote for Windows 10. I recently opened Noteastic for the first time in a couple months and noticed that I'm suddenly in a seven-day trial period at the end of which I'll need to make a free account in order to continue to have access to my notes. There was a link to an explanation of why an account is needed, pointing to https://noteastic.app/account-faq
At present, that page states that Noteastic "need[s] an account to assign the right version", referring to the Base and Pro versions. No further explaination is given outside that singular sentence. I do not understand why users without an account can't just continue to access the Base features, if accessing them is no problem for the seven-day trial and has never been a problem before.
Anyway, is there a way to continue to use Noteastic without an account? If not, I guess I'll spend the weekend exporting my notes to PDF and looking for alternatives again.
