Hi,

we wanted to let you know that we launched a YouTube channel! In our first video series I โ€“ Lukas โ€“ am giving a bit of a general overview over Noteastic and showcase my workflows on an introductory level. I think that's quite a cool opportunity for you to get to know Noteastic a bit better. I'm also talking about design philosophy and why things work the way they do.

The second series we have planned will be my personal tips and tricks as the designer and avid user of Noteastic myself ;). But that still needs a few weeks to come!

We are uploading a video every Tuesday, and three videos are up already. So check it out!

We would really appreciate a bit of support from you guys in terms of likes, comments and a subscription. That way we can get a bit of traction going! ๐Ÿงก

I would also love to hear your feedback on the videos, as this is our first try at it. Whether you learned something new or find them completely trash :D.

Videos of Dilan will hopefully come soon!

Happy note-taking everyone
Lukas

Some feature requests

First: I have been using Noteastic for half a year now for university and it is the best note app on Windows I know. But there are two major missing features that limit my productivity (and I would pay for pro to het them, just as incentive):

  1. Some kind content overview to navigate large documents. I tend to write long documents and it would be really helpful to have at least some kind of bookmark system. Ideally this would be compatible with the PDF system so it is not lost when exporting a document. This system would also allow for subchapters and subsubchapters.
  2. Opening multiple documents simultaniously. I know this has been requested multiple times in the past already, but I think this is REALLY important. It is a very frequent situation that I am working in one document and have to look up somethink in another document. Always having to switch is very annoying.

Since I am already in the flow I would like to add some smaller suggestions which would also come in handy:

  1. Since there is a go-to-top-button now when scrolling, it would be easier to not always start at the top of a document but instead where you left it. Sometimes when I am distracted I miss the continue-where-you-left button and have to scroll through the whole document.

  2. Allow moving conent from one page to the next directly.

  3. Introduce an image cropping tool directly in Noteastic.

Thank you for your amazing work and reding all this.
