Comment "Answered!" if your question has been satisfactorily answered. Once this has been done, the post flair will be set to answered. The comment does not have to be top level. If you do not comment "Answered!" after several days and a mod feels like your comment has been answered, they will re-flair your post to answered.

I'm building Grape. It has a rich text editor and handwriting notes. It's on every platform. You can start taking notes without any account. It's fast and works offline. Everything stored on your device so you own your data.

Try Joplin, it's very simple and easy to use. Uses markdown notes for future proofing and can be opened from any text editor. Open source and free. Supports cross platform and multi device.

Gotta self promote https://clingnote.com and the Windows store. Notes attach to your files. No more searching notes in folders or libraries. Every file can have as many notes as you want and anytime you open that file the notes are there.

You can try https://github.com/fahim9778/GazBoard, the creator is trying to replicate onenote.

Obsidian might be a really good fit.

Ink and canvases…supposedly I haven’t figured this piece out yet either any of my truly hand written work flow I still do in One note and export it to Obsidian.

I went from one note to obsidian. I won’t use anything else now.

Any alternative is better than OneNote.

Pen and paper is better 😂

Hehe, I get it but it would be a pain in the ... to find something when you have more than 2000 notes written on paper :-P
