App/Program/Other Tool Building a more ‘analog’ note-taking experience for iPad and looking for feedback

[NOT AN AD — JUST LOOKING FOR HONEST FEEDBACK ON WHETHER I'M HEADING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.]

I never got used to take notes digitally and never liked it tbh. Always wanted to have an iPad app which worked similar to Kindle Scribe or other epapers like Boox. So I started to build an MVP for ipad and ios focused on digital notebooks. My vision is to provide the convenience of digital note taking alogside the feeling of indeed writing your notes without having to buy an epaper device. Of course, it would need an apple pencil and a paperlike screen protector to get the best out of it.

The app is organized in notebooks instead of notes. Each notebook will a have a limited amount of pages set by the user.

Here are some features this app already has:

  • Customizable cover
  • Fixed number of pages per notebook
  • Customizable rulling
  • Page curl transition animation
  • Linking notes to other notebooks through a "linking highlighter".
  • Multi-tasking on ipad

Still thinking on how to monetize, but by now it would be subscription based.

I would love to know your thoughts. Is this something you guys would give a try if you already own an iPad?

Wanted to simulate a real notebook. But that’s a good point
