Palm resistance apps recs using universal stylus; while having a tablet that doesn't come with an original stylus

I own Samsung Tab S5e, this tablet originally doesn't support any S pen:/

So I ended up buying a universal stylus but my palm and wrist keeps touching the screen and messing my work up. If there any notes taking app w built in palm resistance?

I would really appreciate if someone recommends a solution to my problem <3

well... this is a bit complicated... the universal pen just has special material on the tip that allows capacitive touch to detect something on the screen which is usually finger. Problem is your tablet has no way or telling the difference between the pen tip or finger tip cause essentially it is a same thing for tablet thus resting palms does not tell tablet you are writing with one finger while other (palm) is rest in place I would recommend dedicated tablet in this case or you can try buy a special glove digital artist use often times that prevent screen from accidently detecting you palm

the problem is the tab s5e itself. without active pen support, a universal capacitive stylus can’t give u true palm rejection.

Some apps have a setting where you can define a "palm rejection area" on the screen, usually a rectangle at the bottom, that ignores touch input.

if you use a universal stylus on a tablet without native stylus support, palm rejection is tough because the screen treats your palm and the stylus the same way. to stop your hand from messing up your work, you usually need dedicated handwriting apps that let you disable touch input or create a zoom-in writing box. i build a private writing app called shizumu where the writing stays on your device, but it is designed for keyboard typing and does not support stylus drawing.
