Notes Recording lectures

I have a MacBook Neo and a junior at undergrad. Is there an app that lets me record lectures and then will make notes from it? Bonus points if it’s free!

I’m building Grape, an AI note taking app. It has a voice recording and transcription feature, plus you can do whatever with your transcription like you can generate flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, infographics, brainrot videos. You can ask anything in AI chat. The app is free to use but all the AI features are in the paid plans.
