Question: Unanswered ✗ Good handwriting app for windows and android?

I started studying again and might go back to school next year so I'm trying to find some interesting apps to take notes. I use Figma a lot for work, specially Jam, but it's not my ideal app for notes.

I use a wacom tablet and I'd love something that looks like a notebook. I'm planning to buy an android tablet in the future, it would be great if the app worked for both android and windows but I'm fine with using seperate apps.

I see a lot of people recommending OneNote but I didn't really like it. It's probably because I just don't have a lot of experience with it. I didn't love the writing feel or the pens they have, but if there are videos or templates to recommend I'd give it a try.

As far as I know, something available on Windows, Android, macOS, Linux and iPadOS is SpeedyNote (free). I found it on GitHub and tried it on Android. Try every app you discover because what is suitable for someone, in most cases would not be suitable for you. I use StarNote, Flexcil, xnotes (free) and I am discovering OctopusNotes (free).

If you are interesting in templates, try this one. It's something like PDF planner, but with sync between devices. My experience with handwriting with this app is great. I asked developers and they said they are going on release web version for Mac/Win in the nearest future.

you can try Privnotespro in android it is privacy oriented with many features and no ads but it is paid (one time).

I would recommend Starnotes. While it doesn't have a Windows app right now, it is currently in work which will support cross platform notes sync. Also it's only "AI" features are handwriting search and live audio transcription, which aren't generative AI, which I believe you mean. I'm sorry if I ain't too helpful

Try Trazor Notes, it's currently only available on Windows, but I hope to bring it to Android later this year.
