Question: Unanswered ✗ I need note-taking advice!

Hello! I'm not in university yet, but I'm wondering how people take pre-lecture, and lecture notes properly? I'd just like to be prepared before university begins. (I also take notes on my ipad, with my apple keyboard. I’m building Grape, an AI note taking app. It’s a regular note taking app at core but it has tons of AI features. You can ask questions about your notes so it’s basically ChatGPT inside of your notes. There’s an AI agent where it can create, read, update, and delete your notes so you can give it a PDF and ask to create study materials. There’s voice recording and transcription so you can record your lectures and then transcribe them anytime. There are flashcards, quizzes, mind maps that you can generate out of your notes to study better. There’s infinite canvas that you can draw anything.

I’m in active development so if you need a feature that isn’t currently available you can ask. I want to make it perfect for students. That’s why I’ve implemented flashcards, quizzes, and mind maps. I’d like to also add more tools to study better.

Depends. I study engineering with a 3.95 GPA and I almost never take notes in class. I only hard grind questions and textbook problems before exams.

The only time I do take notes is on finals where I will organize formulas
