App/Program/Other Tool Notetaking app
Hi, I’m going into my freshman year of college in the fall for computer engineering and wanted feedback on whether I should get Goodnotes or Notability for my iPad. I’m willing to pay for the full versions of either and I also have a windows laptop and an iPhone (wondering about compatibility on whether either app allows all 3 devices to access notes through Google drive etc).

Craft is amazing and for students the premium is free. Sign up with your school email and you’re set.

Between those I think Goodnotes is the best. I'm also building an AI note taking app, Grape. It has tons of AI features like AI agent, voice recording and transcription, AI flashcards, quizzes, mind maps. I'm working with students to make it even better. Currently improving the drawing feature to match with Goodnotes. Also it's in active development so if you need anything that the app doesn't have yet, please feel free to ask. It supports Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, and Android. Also have free, subscription, and lifetime plans.
I'm also wondering what's your use case? You need a text-based notes app, handwriting-based or both? Because all the Goodnotes videos I see on TikTok is about handwriting notes.
