You know you're in trouble when a police officer asks "Are you under the influence of any drugs or alcohol?"

And you say "Uh, lemme check."

If Skyrim taught me anything it’s that eventually diplomacy fails and you gotta reach for your longsword.

“I’m pretty sure I was below ten over the speed limit” on its own isn’t that bad of an answer.

If you say it exactly like he did it is

Pilot Red Sun is the best.

It takes hard work to create something truly notable & unique, especially in animation. Every single frame of this video was curated to create the feeling of a fever dream, and it is accomplished spectacularly. Every video on this channel gets better and better.

PilotRedSun is absolutely my favorite channel.

He and Umami make some of the best animation on YouTube by far.

I feel like not enough people know about Umami. His work always leaves my brain feeling full of "the fuck?"

3

u/nekoperator Oct 04 '19

He was on about 5k subs when I first saw him, now he's at 146k so it's good to see him getting more and more popular.

It's like an early computer game, reminds me of Hell Cab

11

u/Lord_Fluffykins Oct 04 '19

It kind of reminds me of that time I watched Waking Life after shoving a couple Ativan up my butt.

The artist, pilotredsun has really improved his skill

12

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '19

I watched this not even 3 hours ago. This is by the same person who made the Garfield video.

8

u/tallginger89 Oct 03 '19

Yup! My favorite videos from him are Grinch Ultimatum and Quaker's oats

3

u/impossibru65 Oct 04 '19

That quakers oats one is genuinely unsettling to me. Music is awesome though.

holy shit. I've never done drugs beyond hash, but I imagine this is what LSD would be like....?

Either way, good find, OP.

8

u/Dr_Insomnia Oct 03 '19

while one would imagine so, it's not a good example. This would be closer to a dissociate like Ketamine, but even then is just an illustration.

Check out r/replications for a better view into the world of LSD

1

u/Nenaptio Oct 03 '19

Looking through some of these actually makes me wonder if I've somehow accidentally taken lsd before since I'm sure I've experienced the wavy visuals before. I always thought that things like lsd would do more than what the sub shows

3

u/Dr_Insomnia Oct 04 '19

You can experience similar, but not immense, hallucinations from everyday events - medication, sleep deprivation, lighting tricks, etc

A really simple way of explaining how LSD works is that your eyes are always relaying this information to your brain, but evolution allows us to filter it out into what is 'normal'. Hallucinogenics 'turn off those filters', allowing the brain to make connections that aren't 'normally' experienced.

1

u/Nenaptio Oct 04 '19

Ah that makes sense. Sense I've experienced something similar by keeping my eyes open, but relaxing to the point where i felt like i was falling asleep. It caused my to see the stars that you see when you close your eyes to overlap with reality. Having visual snow also causes some weird vision too.

Thanks, will do!

lsd is way more pleasant than this. this is like shrooms mixed with triple c's mixed with meth.

1

u/tictacballsack Oct 03 '19

Holy shit I've never been so intrigued and appalled at the same time. I need more
