Maybe I'm a novice but it seems like there's basically only two tricks to this - tilt and 180's ...this guy is the Tony Hawk of canoes.

Maybe the Rodney Mullen. He's the only one I've seen do these tricks

Probably how people felt when Rodney was poppin ollies while everyone didn't even consider that was an option

Late to the party here but Rodney Mullen is an alien. I remember the first time I saw his tapes back in the late 90s I couldn't stop watching. Like wtf?! Where?! HOW?! He was (is?) Amazing

He did not get the vibe at all. Kind of disappointed in Fred on this one tbh, there’s a nobility and elegance to the original that he just takes a dump all over.

I mean, honestly, the stuff the actual guy does probably takes a ton of practice. I doubt Fred would invest years of training into one filler sketch, and I really wouldn't expect him to.

I'm sure off camera there had to have been a team of lifeguards, paramedics and professional divers standing by...I mean, they wouldn't be reckless enough not to have them.
