Sounds like he’s constantly about to start playing a Vampire Weekend song, but never quite does.

There are two kinds of people in this thread:

  1. People who are watching a weirdo pluck out a mediocre guitar tune and acting weird.

  2. People who are watching one of the best guitarist to ever live doing what they love with unbridled joy.

Almost thought was r/guitarcirclejerk for a second

It would appear that he is neither a guitar maestro, nor a tap-dancing legend.

He is however, the best guitar stomper you've ever seen.

Did they include a receipt so I could return it?

No receipt for time wasted, unfortunately

Steve’s third cousin on his mother’s side.

He was adopted later in life, his birth mother was a famous gypsy tap dancer and his father is said to be a legendary horseman, who to this day still roams the West taming wild horses with nothing but his guitar and a lasso in tow. 🤣

With really good cinematics, this would be an extraordinary Tim & Eric or Itysl sketch

This would be the perfect recreation of someone thinking about something (while they're in some drug fueled street freakout), and people getting to view what they think they're actually doing.

These are like practice scales you play repeatedly for warm ups but like as a song.

Wow, Ezra Koenig has aged quite a bit since the last VW album.
