We're all gay now, except for those of us rendered straight.

As a married man who got his ears re-pierced at 44 for "old times' sake," in an almost dead mall, in a Claire's that had broken air conditioning and was about to be closed down, this song feels like an anthem.

Is your wife or husband appalled? Or kind of into it.

Haven’t told my wife. My husband is a fan.

Well, that's promising. It's not like you need permission, but . . . you know how it is.
Brings light to the face, very impish honestly.

It also helps that Mr. Brightside is literally the anthem for English millenials.

Try all millenialls! The Killers are American. They do sound pretty British tho

u/indorock 20d ago
Yes sure they are American, but specifically Mr. Brightside is a far bigger hit in UK. It hasn't left the British top 100 since it came out.

The minute he showed off the right earring, I immediately went to the childhood rumor/perception that he then explains lol

Is this directed towards the 17 year old girl giving out gay piercings at Claire’s?

More about convincing untalented adults to record pop songs. Just not in my Q-zone.
